Dometic RM7030 frig blowing 12 volt fuse in fuse panel

I'm about to pull out all the hair I've got left and that ain't much. Our fridge will blow the 20amp fuse about every 3 days. It just started this. We are in the desert of Arizona and have been here for more than 30 days. I've looked at everything I can think of. Any ideas from you folks? I'll look at all suggestions. BTW, the fridge has worked perfect for the last year and a half.

RE: SEA EAGLE Inflatable boat

I got mine today. Got it put together in about an hour, I had to have the Canopy and the windshield. I ordered the SE9 motormount boat. I haven't had it in the water yet, but can see, if it works to fish out of, it will be real easy to store in the toad or the motorhome when on the move. Hauling the gas tank, for the motor, is going to be the biggest challenge. I'm going in the morning to see how it floats. I'll give a report tomorrow and if I don't report you'll know it didn't work out so well and it sunk. :)

RE: SEA EAGLE Inflatable boat

I just purchased a Sea Eagle 9 and used it the first time last week. We have the model with the wooden floorboards and the transom for a motor. I used a 2.5 hp Mercury outboard and it powered the boat just fine. I added fold down seats and a pedastal between the wooden seats and the floor board for support. Mine also has the bimini top. If you would like, send me an e-mail and I will attach a photo of the setup. My wife was not sure about how stable this would be since we also have a 17' Bayliner with a 120 hp i/o, but aftger going out in it once, she liked it. We used it on Dowdy Lake, about 80 surface acres outside of Fort Collins Colo. Trolled for trout and caught quite a few. We plan on taking it as we travel cross country. I just purchased the same boat and it hasn't arrived yet. Could you e-mail me a picture of your setup as I would like to put a pedestal seat in mine if possible. Replace the word "at" with the "at sign". alwimsatmissouricarry.com

RE: How do you like this campsite????

This Missouri Hillbilly is in love. I've always wanted a deer stand like that. I've set an old TT at the edge of a field before, but never had a way of hoisting it up in the air.

RE: Good Sam ERS or Coach Net??

Have GS ERS. First time was very disappointing as I waited for over a 1/2 hour on hold and never did get an answer, called back, still no answer. Fixed the problem myself. Second time, we got stuck in the sand when our 4 wheel drive went out on our GMC Envoy. GS got us a wrecker, but as we were more than 50' off the road, we had to pay the $300 wrecker bill ourselves. Third time was ok. Had a blowout on the inside dual drivers side. GS called a wrecker to come out and change the tire, but didn't have the right tools so he helped us get the coach to a tire shop. GS paid the whole bill. All in all, the jury is still out on whether we'll renew next year.

RE: Holiday Rambler Endeavor - Any Probs?

The add says 330hp. Which one is this one, 5.9 or 8.3?

Holiday Rambler Endeavor - Any Probs?

We're thinking about looking at a 2000 Holiday Rambler Endeavor 40' DP w/2 slides. Anybody know anything about them, good, bad, ugly, etc?

RE: Tow Bar Position

Just a thought. Make sure you unlock the steering wheel so the front tires can turn freely.

RE: Traveling California

DW wants to cut off I5 and take 395 thru Carson City and then down. Any idea what those roads are like?

RE: Traveling California

If you are talking about the agricultural inspection stations, then all vehicles must stop. If you are talking about the California Highway patrol commercial inspection stations then only commercial vehicles must stop. I guess I'm talking about the agricultural inspection stations. What's involved at these? In other words, what are they looking for and do they come in your MH to inspect? We have nothing to hide, I just don't like the idea.

Traveling California

We are going to go south from Oregon on I5 to Barstow and as we have never traveled in California before, we were wondering what is involved at the inspection stations? I've heard that all vehicles have to stop.

RE: Doghouse console

Why not do something more useful. This is my computer desk. I took an oak table and redisigned the legs to fit over the doghouse. This allows us to use all of our motorhome. Also is great when going down the road. http://premium1.uploadit.org/alwims//100_3147.jpg

RE: This will eliminate a lot of weight

I bought the Kindle for my wife a couple of weeks ago and she just loves it. Yes it is expensive, but well worth the cost if you consider the weight savings of all the books she is carrying around, (100+).

RE: Tow Dolly Ready 2 Go - Am I Crazy?

Except for length, it's legal in all states that allow doubles. With safety chains, it's not dangerous at all. Besides that, they were steel cable reinforced straps I had special made. I since sold the boat and flat tow so don't be scared if you see me. :R

RE: dometic refer

You're going to think I'm nuts, but if all the electrics and the burner seems to be working, you may have developed a bubble in the cooling chamber. It happened to me once and I was told to take a rubber hammer to it. I took my rubber hammer out and beat the heck out of the coils and it started cooling just like it never quit. That was almost a year ago and it still works like new.
